Adopt an Elder this Holiday Season!
Imagine feeling forgotten during the holidays.
Many nursing home residents, with little or no family, feel this way every year. Help Second Wind Dreams spread some cheer by providing holiday gifts and cards.
Individual and Corporate Volunteers are Needed!

We will send you elders’ wish lists. They ask for simple, affordable items because they have so little.
SHARE
Drop off or send gifts (or cards) to the nursing home location where staff will deliver them to the elder(s).
GIVE
Give a donation. Second Wind Dreams will purchase and drop-off or send the gifts for you.
Our #1 goal is to provide personal visits. However, the safety of our elders and volunteers comes first. Due to COVID and current visitation restrictions, we are offering virtual volunteer opportunities to shop (in-person or online) and drop off (or ship) your adopted elders’ gifts directly to their nursing homes. We invite volunteers to post photos and/or videos with their personal Holiday messages on social media. Please tag Second Wind Dreams and include #GiftsofLight so we can share the post messages with our nursing home recipients.
